Sparky Swim Camp - 2008 Information
This year's camp will be directed by Arizona State University Associate Head Coach, Annemarie Miskovic and ASU Assistant Coach, Kyle Schack.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
- Arizona State 's Sparky Swim Camp is an all-ability level camp for swimmers aged 8-18.
- The focus of the camp will be on teaching the most up-to-date stroke technique, starts, and turns.
- Campers will participate in classroom sessions on nutrition, injury prevention, and race preparation in addition to evening activities.
RESIDENT CAMP - $550:
- Begins at 2pm on Sunday and ends at 12pm on Thursday each session.
- Daily activities and special evening activities which include a visit to a local water park.
- Air-conditioned accommodation in ASU's dorms with 1-2 swimmers per room and 24-hour supervision by our staff.
- Three meals per day in ASU's campus dining facilities.
- Staff escorted airport pick-up and drop-off from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
- All resident campers will receive a camp t-shirt and cap.
DAY CAMP - $325:
- Pick-up and drop-off each day at the Mona Plummer Aquatic Center Lobby.
- Schedule for each session:
- Sunday : Drop-off at 2pm and pick-up at 5pm.
- Monday through Wednesday : Drop-off at 8:15am and pick-up at 5pm.
- Thursday : Drop-off at 8:15am and pick-up at 12pm.
- Lunch provided in ASU's campus dining facilities.
- All day campers will receive a camp t-shirt and cap.

The coaching staff brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from coaching Age Group Swimmers to NCAA All-Americans and Olympians and is led by:

Mona Plummer Aquatic Center on Arizona State University 's main campus is one of the finest outdoor facilities in the nation featuring a 3-pool complex with a 50-meter by 25-yard pool, an 8-lane, 25-yard pool, and a 25-yard diving well. It is located at College Avenue and Stadium Drive ( 5th Street in Tempe , Arizona ) just south of Sun Devil Football Stadium. Check-in will be held in the lobby prior to the start of each camp. Day campers will be dropped off and picked-up from the lobby of the Aquatic Complex.
